FAITH

Hey Friend,

Today I want to talk to you about FAITH. Faith is such an important topic because everything concerning our Christian life is by Faith. We believe that God is God by faith, we believe that the bible is the Word of God by Faith, and we believe that God sent his only Son Jesus to be born of a virgin by Faith. I can go on and on with many of the things that have a starting foundation of FAITH, but I think you get the picture now. The starting point for every Christian must be faith. The reality is that we were not here thousands of years ago, but we believe by Faith!

Hebrews 11:1

Faith shows the reality of what we HOPE for; it is the evidence of things we CANNOT see.

Hebrews 11:6

“And it is impossible to please God without faith”.

Faith gives the assurance of things we cannot see as the scripture mentions above. If you have faith that God is God, then that means you are SURE and WITHOUT DOUBT. The thing about faith is that you cannot force it. Faith is something that comes from a pure heart. I want to encourage you today to reflect on your faith. Have you been doubting more than you are having faith? If you have, then I want to encourage you to ask God to remove the doubt from your life. It is only the presence and peace of God in our life that can remove doubt. For some of you maybe you have faith but desire for it to grow to a deeper level. If that’s you, ask the Lord to take you deeper in faith. Whichever person you are know that God wants to grant you FAITH. I can teach about faith, but it is only the Lord that can GROW your faith.

I don’t know what you need, what you are hoping for or maybe even a promise you are waiting on, but I can certainly tell you that your faith in God alone will take you a long way. Don’t lose hope! We serve a God who HONORS OUR FAITH. In the Bible there are several accounts of Jesus telling people that their Faith has made them well or that their faith has healed them. He was acknowledging and honoring their FAITH in HIM.

May you always put your faith in God and not in the things of this world.
